Construction will soon begin on permanent facilities for Gulf Coast, despite the fact that the debate over an adjoining piece of land continues.

An anomymous buyer bought the adjoining land at the Gulf Coast site and offered to lease it to the school board with terms to purchase it, and the school board accepted.

Around 100 students appeared for the first day of registration at GCCC. Times and days are listed for continued registration.
